Two Interlachen residents were arrested Monday morning on drug charges stemming from a several months long investigation by sheriff’s office drug unit detectives.
Tracy Wilson, 44, and Christopher Harrison, 39, were arrested at their 321 Milton Avenue residence following a search warrant. During the search detectives found a firearm, 13.5 grams of fentanyl placed into multiple gram size baggies and more than 20 Alprazolam pills.
The residence is well known to law enforcement as deputies have responded twice in the past two years to drug overdoses as well as other calls for service. Additionally, both Wilson and Harrison are convicted felons.
Wilson was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl 4 grams or more, possession of a schedule 4 substance with intent to sell, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug dwelling and from a prior warrant for possession of a synthetic narcotic (fentanyl) to sell. She was taken to the Putnam County Jail. During a search at the jail, deputies found Xanax pills in her bra and Wilson was charged with introduction of contraband into jail facilities. She is being held without bond.
Harrison was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl 4 grams or more, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a drug dwelling and a prior warrant for possession of a synthetic narcotic (fentanyl) for distribution. He was taken to the Putnam County Jail and held without bond.
“This is a nuisance location and my detectives have worked diligently to build a case that hopefully will remove these two individuals from our community and prevent them from pedaling their poison,” Sheriff H.D. ‘Gator’ DeLoach said.
