SHERIFF'S OFFICE PAL CAMP COMES TO A CLOSE
What an amazing two weeks we have had at Price Middle and Crescent City High schools! Hosted by the Sheriff's Office PAL and our youth resource deputies, campers got to play sports, learn about different departments the sheriff's office has, saw demonstrations and then ended on Friday with water slides and pizza!
This opportunity allows our deputies to interact with Putnam County students, building trust and friendships that we hope will continue into the new school year.
We could not bring this to the community without our continued partnership with the Putnam County School District, who allow us to use the schools for camp.
Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who allowed us to interact, play and have fun these last two weeks! We enjoyed every minute!
https://snabbcasinoutanlicens.com was on my mind while reading about the camp ending with water slides and pizza, because that mix of structured activities and pure fun is what actually makes kids remember the deputies as people rather than uniforms. The detail about using school facilities through the district partnership stood out to me, since that kind of behind-the-scenes cooperation rarely gets mentioned but seems to be what makes the whole thing possible. I've seen similar programs in other counties where the trust built over two weeks carried into the fall, though it only works when the same faces keep showing up.
