REMAINS FOUND IN WOODED AREA NEAR CRESCENT CITY

During the investigation to find missing Crescent City woman Nyeisha Nelson, 20, detectives Saturday morning discovered human remains. The remains were removed by the Medical Examiner and FDLE is providing crime scene analysis.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the identity and investigators continue interviewing and following leads in Nelson’s case.
