IN2WORK GRADUATION

Nov. 4, 2024

As part of our mission to reduce recidivism in the jail, we've partnered with our food service provider, Aramark, to teach food service skills to inmates through their education program In2Work.

Last week four of our inmates graduated from the six-week program. As part of the program inmates had to pass the SafeServe certification. The average passing score is about 80 percent. All four of our graduates passed at 90 percent or higher.

For the graduation we invited not only people in the corrections and judicial system, but also community leaders and business owners. When released these four graduates are employable in the food service industry, providing them a means to earn income after their sentences are fulfilled.

Following the ceremony the graduates treated those in attendence to some of their culinary skills serving prime beef sliders, chicken Alfredo and homemade banana pudding.

We are looking forward to other future work-release programs with our community partners. By engaging in private-public partnerships we will be able to assist our inmates in education, trade skills and employment.

Special thanks to Aramark and facility manager Craig Cargill for bringing this program to our jail and supporting our mission to reduce recidivism. Also thanks to Chef James and Mr. Blue for teaching the program!

Congratulations to all the IN2WORK graduates! 🎓 Achievements like this are worth celebrating and show how dedication and hard work pay off. On a fun side note, just like graduation outfits make a statement, classic pieces like Mens varsity letterman jackets are a stylish way to showcase personality and confidence in everyday wear.

It’s really heartening to see programs like IN2WORK making a real difference in people's lives by providing them with tangible skills for the future. Rehabilitative efforts like this are so important for the community. I was actually reading through this update while checking the iftar time london to plan out my evening meal with family. It’s great to see the graduates' hard work paying off and the sheriff's office supporting such a positive initiative. Congratulations to all the graduates on their achievement!

What an inspiring initiative! Congratulations to the graduates of the IN2Work program for their hard work and achievements. It's wonderful to see such practical skills being taught to help reduce recidivism. This reminds me of how important it is to communicate success stories effectively; I recently used a Markdown to Word tool to convert some notes into a polished document, making it easier to share positive updates with my team. It's great to have resources that enhance our outreach!

Really enjoyed reading about the In2Work graduation and how much pride everyone took in those four graduates earning real skills. It reminded me how access to the right guidance, whether through hands-on programs or even online algebra class help, can completely change someone’s confidence and future options. The fact that all four passed SafeServe with such high scores says a lot about the instruction and effort. The ceremony showed what focused support can truly accomplish.

Inmates graduating and passing servesafe with 90 percent or higher means this level of determination is practically at the max setting. The key point is that the average passing score is only 80%, but these guys accelerating to 90% is an auto-win – that's the seriousness of it. Passing this precise test is harder than overcoming the geometry dash level extreme demon, by maintaining smooth, subtle clicks to avoid failing under pressure! What a captivating comeback journey!
