Flag flown at US Capitol in Memory of Capt. Elam

April 29, 2021 - Thank you to Congresswoman Kat Cammack for requesting this flag be flown in memory of Capt. Mark Elam who died earlier this month on his way to work.

After the flag was flown at the US Capitol, it was shipped to us at the sheriff’s office. Yesterday we placed the flag in a shadow box with Captain badges and bars Capt. Elam would have worn and will be presenting it to his family.

Again, thank you Kat for being a friend to law enforcement and give a fitting tribute to our lost brother and friend.
