CRIMESTOPPERS BANQUET 2019

Recently we attended the CrimeStoppers of NE Florida banquet honoring excellence in law enforcement. Each of the four counties (Putnam, Flagler, St. Johns and Volusia) nominated law enforcement officers who excelled beyond the line of duty making their community a safer place.

In Putnam County, our nominees included our own Sgt. Merritt, Palatka Police Department Sgt. Lee and State Attorney investigator Harrell.

Sgt. Merritt was recognized for his tireless work with K9 Putnam in finding the lost in not only our county as well as the surrounding area and received law enforcement officer of the year for Putnam County.

Congratulations to all three Putnam County officers honored. All of you make our community better!
